If you like colonial history, this place is a must see. Our guide Tom did a good job thoroughly explaining everything about the architecture, time period and the different groups of people whose lives were intertwined in the first New Paltz settlement (Huguenot, English, Dutch, Natives and African slaves).

Go support this awesome museum! We went on the boos & brews on a whim and really enjoyed the experience and our guide. We stumbled upon this on our drive from Philadelphia to Canada and we're so glad we did. The value was also incredible. $20 and two beers included! 10/10. Can't wait to come back.

Absolutely stunning, well preserved historic landmark area. I'm fortunate to have an older friend who knows nearly each and every landmark home, to give me the detailed history of each structure. Amazing, pleasurable walk through this lovely area of New Paltz! Totally cool and fascinating! Go and enjoy it!
