Wife went through preadmission with the Olathe Medical Center Birthing hospital. Her Obgyn sent her there because she isn't allowed to birth a child when the woman has had a C section. My wife had the C section 9 years ago and has successfully birthed 4 children naturally since then. The doctor took two weeks to get back with us and finally did so today. The doctor is refusing to birth our child citing my wife's "medical history" (the C section 9 years ago.) This is a place that delivers (natural births) babies from women who have had C sections. This is why her Obgyn sent her there. The Obgyn is shocked at the decision and tells us she's never seen this before. We believe we are being denied medical care based off the birthing plan drawn up requiring as much of a natural birth as possible with little to no interfering with our baby after birth. This is our 10th child, we know what we want as parents of a new born.They told us they are refusing us based on my wife's nearly perfect delivering history but in reality we are being denied care based off our strong parental values. My wife is due in 14 days and we are left hanging!! Do NOT go to this place if you have strong parental values and you want as little interference with the natural birth of your child as possible. They say they will only accept my wife if she agrees to be cut up with an unncessary C -Section! How barbaric! C-Sections are money makers, apparently, more than a natural birth! You have been forewarned!

Best experience I’ve ever had. I gave birth to my baby girl here and the nurses and drs were so amazing with all their help and had so much patience with me !! Highly recommend

Amazed how great experience we have had, the nurses they are amazing, 100% pleased on this place,we just had our baby boy, 100% guaranteed we are not going elsewhere in future needs.
