EDIT Sep 2022: I had to come here recently to fill prescriptions. The staff over the phone was helpful in getting them filled that day. When I went over there, only a couple people were ahead of me, and once it was my turn the transaction went rather quickly. Based on my previous experiences here, the insane wait times are likely due to the “winter visitors”, while that problem is alleviated during summer months. Either way, if you don’t need prescriptions asap, I highly recommend getting them shipped to your door since it saves so much time and it’s free! Changing rating to 4 stars. EDIT: Just went back to get my prescriptions today at 7 PM. There were 5 cars in the drive thru, so I parked, went in, and saw about 7 people in line. I went around the store to get other things I needed (took about 10 minutes), then went back to the pharmacy. Only one person had been helped, and I saw 2 more people had joined the line. Outside, there were still 5 cars. Needless to say, I was unable to pick up my prescriptions. This is unacceptable, especially when the pharmacy closes at 8 PM and that many people still need to be helped. Bumping my 3 stars down to 1 star until this unbridled chaos is fixed. Decent location overall with equally decent customer service. Warning: Do not ever come here during the busy times (that is, middle of the day). The pharmacy lines get absolutely insane like people say in other reviews. I’m sure it’s a mix of some pharmacists being incompetent or swamped with prescriptions, as well as customers not having their insurance properly set up nor making sure their prescription is actually ready. When I come here late at night with no cars in line, I am in and out in less than a minute.

Edit: in hold now for 20 min, I’m changing us over to CVS. I am currently still on hold as I’m typing this. My husband tried calling the pharmacy three times, and all three times he was hung up on. He then tried contacting the supervisor, he was on hold for over 10 min before he gave up. I have been trying to get through to someone for 12 minutes now. This happens ALL the time. It’s sad. We get hung up on, or just stuck on hold until with give up. I understand that they may be understaffed, but a simple “hey we’re really busy, let me put you on hold really quick” would be SO much better than hanging up on us all together. So so sick of never being able to talk to anyone at this store.

Extremely & unnecessarily rude pharmacist techs. I attempted to pickup my prescription & when the card readers were not working, she had a very rude attitude & proceeded to tell me in a condescending manner that there was a “huge sign at the door” stating the services were down. In addition, she never apologized for the inconvenience or even showed any emotion besides the snarky attitude she held from the start. Horrible customer service. Do not come here.

I tried calling walgreens in the foothills today for prescription status and some there has hung up on me 6times. That employee should be fired!! I've had it with walgreens, going to switch to CVS.

Just call the store or go into the store with your rx. They will transfer the Rx from one store to another if they are not controlled substance.
