Hands down the best veterinarian hospital that we've ever been too. The care and thoughtfulness each doctor and staff member put into their work is unparalleled. We love Dr. Taylor and the environment he has built. Highly recommend bringing your pet family member to this wonderfully knowledgeable place of love.

Best Drs north of the river. I’ve been going to the vets at this hospital for over 10 years

I needed an X-ray for my dog when he started limping on his elbow. Unfortunately, my vet did not have one. After touching base with several vets, Taylor was in the same ball park as the rest but they did have the fastest availability. So they get an A+ at expediting an emergency visits. Upon arrival we were taken back to an exam room fairly fast and the doctor showed up pretty quickly as well. She was very friendly and thorough in my opinion. The doc wanted to put my dog under for the x-rays which I disagreed with and was not necessary in the end. So I avoided the extra charges. She saw nothing wrong in the X-rays but sent them to a radiologist anyway. During this same visit the doctor did suggest avoiding raw feeding which is basically going against the grain of the entire world. After the radiologist report diagnosed a fractured coranoid process the doctor called back and referred me to the two locations in the city that would perform such a technical surgery. I did a lot of research from that point and one of the recommendations was who I ended up with in the end. Multiple sports injury surgeons stated that no one could diagnose FCP from an x-ray. Well, after a very expensive cat scan that's exactly what it was and Taylor's radiology people did in fact diagnose the problem correctly which says a lot about who they use. The negative in this review really comes in at how I perceive the hospital to bill unnecessarily. It's not that they are bad vets in anyway but they wanted to put the dog under with drugs that weren't necessary. Afterwards when asked how much they charge for annual titers testing, the cost was astronomical! Where another vet would charge $80 per test, Taylor wanted $300... That's $160 vs $600! That kinda leads one to believe they are in the business of annual inoculations and make more money vaccinating than sending tests off to the lab to see if they are even necessary. So as far as a consistent annual vet I don't know that I could recommend them based on that experience.

Dr. Todd Taylor and his staff are all absolutely amazing. Our dog, Reyna, now 11 year old German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois used to be terrified of the vet, not since we switched to Taylor 4+ years ago. Dr. Taylor has made her feel comfortable from day one- even after two surgeries she’s still comfortable going back. Couldn’t ask for better care for our dog. We know without a doubt she’s in the best hands. Couldn’t recommend them more.

Work at Taylor and thd Dr charges only $450 for every thing and it includes suture removal after 2 weeks and a free ear coning if needed. Most Cane Corsos don't need to be posted up after the sutures come out.
