Such a nice atmosphere to learn about the history of the area. All homemade food.

Best Ruben I've ever had. Owner is a wealth of information and a great story teller.

A history lesson and a great meal! The operator was highly knowledgeable of the area's history, and was more than happy to share many interesting and funny anecdotes with us. Even better, the food was excellent! I got the bison pot roast with succotash and sweet potatoes, and my partner got the Swedish meatballs. Both were incredibly good, and tasted fresh and healthy. The bread was fresh and homemade, and was awesome. I absolutely intend to come back and eat later.

It was an excellent experience. We met & had a wonderful visit with 3 members of the "General's Mounted Color Guard out of Ft Riley, Kansas along with the gentleman operating the Cafe-- he was full of interesting historical information. The food was delicious & the atmosphere was lovely!! Yes, we plan to go back!!

We ask guests to wear masks, unless they are eating. We wear masks. Our air purifier runs constantly. We have arranged our tables and chairs for social distancing. Hand sanitizer is available. We sanitize between guests. We have received our shot for the Covid19 virus. We offer outside dinning on our east porch.
When I ate there the owner brought out the total of a 5 course dinner . I felt like Royalty and he had a story to tell with every trip. He's a great cook and amazing historian. Loading the van and going back real soon. Much history to look at.
Not sure. For several years. All donated time and money. But wouldn't suggest eating there. They had nothing on the menu and tiny amount. But a great place to go in and visit
I am not sure of the date of your question but tonight we do have cherry pie made from dried and canned tart red cherries. I loved it, but Ken was not as excited about it as I was.
