Great museum. Has very high quality exhibits on the history of native Americans, industry, and geological history of the state of North Dakota.

A fascinating stop. For the curious, could fill from 2-4 hrs. Very clean and spacious. Interesting and well-designed, informative exhibits. The geology exhibit is terrific! The tree house play zone and some very well done interactive touch-screen displays are engaging for kids.

The site says their hours are 11 am to 4 pm. Admission is free, however they do a temperature check at the door.
The Hertiage center is open everyday, except for New Years, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

It is open, and free! Be sure to see the display in the basement as well. It is worth the steps on the stairs. (Or use the elevator) My favorite part is the room showing all the beadwork and the beautiful clothing. Enjoy yourself, its a great way to spend the holiday!
