PACKED!!!! LOL. It's great to see this event grow over the years, however I would say if it all possible expanding would be the next thing. Even though it It was extremely crowded we were able to get through the lines fairly quickly. Great food! And lots of games although those can be a bit pricey if your going foe that big teddy bear. Was just a wonderful experience to see all kinds of people, hear the music and enjoy the moment. Was a perfect day to be out. The Sedalia Fair has so many aspects to it that also incorporate the 4-H program which I think is such an amazing experience as well for families and kids to be a part of. If you have the opportunity to let your kids see the animals, taste the BBQ Contest or other parts of 4-H it is a life experience they will never forget.

Of the fair, what can I say, it's not the fair of my youth. No modernization, thin crowds, they doubled down on "nostalgia" and they're atrophying badly. Booked bands have either peaked 20 years (Or more) ago or are Christian. Vendors are sparse, selling flea market junk and overpriced. Most of the food options, with the exceptions of the full restaurants, are sketchy at best, slow and expensive. Go to Iowa or Minnesota for a fair that moved into this century.
