We went on a gloomy day in fall but it didn’t disappoint us. We took the cruise to see the 20 miles pictured rocks lakeshore and enjoyed every minute of it. Also, went on a hike, Miners castle, Miners beach and it was worthwhile.

One of the most spectacular vistas I've seen in the United States. We booked a boat cruise with a local company and it was well worth it to get the overview. Spending another 3-4 days to enjoy the intimate parts of the shoreline is a must. …

Chapel Basin Loop trail review. My app clocked this at 11.4 miles with 1800+' of gain. It took us just over 5 hours to complete. We're in our mid-late 50's. We took this in a CCW direction on 5/18/21 starting at 9:50am. The parking lot was full when we returned. Beautiful weather, green spring growth and flowers along the route. Water falls (Chapel, Mosquito, and Spectacle) can be seen along the way. Great smells. There are endless views of the water and rocks along the way.

I would book early and beat wreck tour is pretty cool too
Not to far
Not all trails - some specifically say not to - others say yes. The local tourism magazine lists waterfalls and trails that allow pets - the park office should be able to say which ones as well.
Trails and beaches are great - I also took the pictures rocks cruise and you definitely see a lot more from the water. Kayak tours would be another way to view but depends on your energy level for all the above.
No. The trails are innaccessable to horses and too small as well.
