Our two year old has loved going to this Primrose! The staff is all incredibly friendly and always greets our daughter by name. She loves being with the kids in her age group and has lots of activities that help with her learning and development. We feel very comfortable with staff and the amount of communication that we have. We would definitely recommend Primrose to other parents.

Our son began at this location in the toddler class when he was just one year old and has now graduated to the preschool class as he just turned three. As with any daycare setting we have had small issues over the years, but the owner and directors have always listened to our concerns and worked to correct any issues and address my concerns. I can’t say enough positive things about Miss Dayton (toddler teacher), Ms. Ulm, (early preschool) and Ms. Mahon (preschool). These women have made me feel so comfortable leaving my son in their care and have shown him such love and support. He tells me how much he loves them and how happy he is to see them each day. When we enter the building, we usually run into Ms, Ulm in the hallway, who always greets my son with a big hug and says: “I love you.” When we walk into to Mahon’s class, the first thing she says to my son is: “come give me a hug!” Each day I get updates on his progress and learn about the daily lesson plan through the procare app, so that I can reinforce at home. As a parent, I just want to feel like I’m leaving my most valuable asset in loving and supportive hands. We’ve found that at Primrose School of Blue Valley.

Our daughter has loved attending Primrose! Someone commented below that there was teacher turnover, sadly this is everywhere right now. I feel that anytime I've had a question or a concern, anyone from school leadership is able to answer or listen. The curriculum is amazing, we love the uniforms, and I can appreciate that they invest in their teachers by offering benefits and through their professional development. I'd recommend this Primrose to anyone in the KC area looking!

Every child learns at their own pace because every child is unique. At Primrose schools, teachers use a variety of tools throughout the year to collaborate with families and monitor each child’s progress. This helps them understand each child’s individual needs and provide the personalized support that helps them excel.
We call our curriculum the Balanced Learning® approach. It is designed to inspire children to think with creativity, compassion and resourcefulness. Primrose school teachers not only guide children as they learn letters, numbers, science and more, but they also weave in character development and life skills opportunities throughout the day so children can develop social and relationship skills.
Yes, our school has a kindergarten program that utilizes our Primrose Balanced Learning® approach to help prepare children for success in Kindergarten, elementary school, and beyond. Small group lessons offer greater individual attention and our extended hours help support working parents with all-day care.
We require all teachers to be certified in first aid and CPR, in addition to ongoing health and safety training throughout the year. Teachers are also trained on common signs of illness with signage placed in each classroom. Learn more here: https://tinyurl.com/yakwfr8g
Teachers and students practice frequent handwashing throughout the day and adhere to a strict sick policy. Temperature checks, touch free check in, and limitations on visitors may also be implemented to minimize risk to all. Learn more here: https://tinyurl.com/y7gutztv
Items like high-touch toys, playground equipment, and other common surfaces are disinfected frequently throughout the day. Sheets and blankets from cribs are laundered daily; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and are laundered on a weekly basis. We require any students or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours.
