Trying to find some Chicago flavors in KC. Stop #2 @thirdcoastpizza We love Lou Malnati’s pizza so when we read that this was like Lou’s we got excited. This is not Lou’s. We ordered the Windy City deep dish style. Good thick tomato sauce that is really concentrated. Board line too much cheese and good quality toppings which is what you want with Chicago style pizza. However, crust is cracker like a Pizza Shoppe crust which is different then other Chicago style pizza places. There was also something gritty in the cheese, like too much of that powder that makes cheese not stick together. We got mozzarella sticks too, nothing special but fired perfectly. The staff is kind and attentive. They shows they really cared about the customers and restaurant.
