Incredible customer service on the phone by Chris and just as awesome customer service meeting him in person! My online order was waiting for me with my name on it and packaged perfectly. Tried three cheeses and two sausage samples, plus the sourdough bread sticks were phenomenal. Such an awesome small, classy, family-owned addition to the South Bay & one we should all support! And it is so easy to order online. Thank you for satisfying my charcuterie cravings!

A cheese enthusiast myself; the Cultured Slice is a small shop at first glance, the inside though will take you around the world and give you a bit of wonderful educational info on everything about every cheese they have. AND ITS ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL. The kindful, store butcher's product knowledge was so helpful and educated us on the kinds of cheeses that EVERYONE (lactose sensitive) CAN ENJOY. She also allowed us the generous privilege to enjoy a few of the specialty cheese samples and the tastes were incredibly satisfying down to the last bit before it is swallowed and seconds are immediately lusted for. After the tasting, we just had to purchase one of the products we sampled. (Sheep and Goat milk cheese 😁) The overall experience, from purchase to the greeting to the tasting, was just wonderful and an absolute highlight of the day.

Ah, for some real "classy" culture...not just the cheese kind! Highest quality is their style. And they bring it! They "up-grade" Hermosa Beach with their presence. Small and select...only the best. Has the feel of a fine Cheese Boutique in Switzerland. Very European. I was delighted to find it...on my way to the chicken shop next door. This delightful young man showed me a sign that read..."My Mom's Cheese Shop is Open Now." How could I resist? I'm so thankful he pulled me in...otherwise I would have missed it...then I couldn't tell you...(just in time for a smashingly impressive gift basket for the Hollidays.) Good job young man...good job! Their samples of cheeses were several cuts above Trader Joe's... (And they offer the best "generic" cheeses around.) A nice selection of ready-to-eat sandwiches and salads are offered on fresh breads as well. Wonderful selection of cold drinks...on the healthy side...no junk found here. Pricy but you don't waste your money. Human stable throughout the ages...good wine...good bread...good cheese...you are set! On my top 10 "Great Finds" List!
