Thank you Elite Gyn of the Palm Beaches! Same day appointment! Dee was an absolute sweetheart over the phone and even sweeter in person. Dr. Whelihan and her student had awesome bedside manner answered all my questions, and took her time. I feel so much better and relieved under her care and she has earned a patient for life. I have already recommended her and her helpful staff to all my friends. The unknown can be very scary so it's important to have a doctor you feel comfortable with and that is completely competent especially in todays world.

I will say that I honestly have never felt so comfortable with a physician in my life. She understands the woman’s body and knows Immediately how to help. She is extremely knowledgeable, caring , fabulous attitude. I will refer her to everyone. The Front staff makes you feel so comfortable as soon as you walk in and the nurse is as caring as can be.

Update 9/7 I had recently met with Olivia Mugridge, ARNP-C and she too made my whole experience extremely comfortable. Her easy personality and willingness to listen means a lot when having to discuss uncomfortable things. She is the best doctor I have had. Dr. Whelihan listens, talks through options and is open to tiring different options as long as she feels they are in your best interest.

I have been coming here for 6 years and it’s always been a great experience. My experience started changing in the past year with being on birth control, treatment for endometriosis and a staff member. I’d also like to add I have a work emergency and they said they would charge my copay and I should’ve called 24 hours before, on a Sunday for a work emergency today at 9 am. Lmaooooo. 24 hours yea. First, I have had yeast infections that lasted months but I just realized my other Gyno had me on treatment every day for a week and what could’ve been fixed everyday for a week was equivalent to the doctor 1x a week for 3 weeks by Dr. Whelihan basically making me come in more. Just makes me think I was wanted for my money more than being taken care of. Be careful, it’s always been a money thing too here. I found out from another gynecologist that I shouldn’t have been on both hormonal treatment and a specific birth control at the same time under Dr. Whelihan’s care(it would make it an aggressive treatment). And sure thing it was, it was the worst experience of my life. But now reflecting I agree, no one should ever of went through that. Dr. Whelihan is amazing, but I can’t agree with her level of care with this situation. Also, one thing that seemed off is I told Dr. Whelihan I should get off birth control because I started experiencing bad symptoms from being on for so long. I said I think it’s the birth control. She said no it can’t be that. But of course it was, now that I am off, I’ve received a period every other week for 4 months. I trusted her with my body and now I’m paying the price for it. Second, a staff member named Joy has been harassing me for a very long time, pressuring me to come in, calling me about my breast, only wanting things her way, to the point where I have no choice but to stop coming because of the treatment I receive from her. They should not be allowing an individual that is on the appointment line to harass patients, just doesn’t make sense. Dr. Whelihan and her staff are amazing, every single of of them. But ever since this new individual came, it’s been a nightmare. ***Dr. Is 3.5 for me, Staff is 5.0 subtracting the individual.*** 9 MONTH UPDATE: I found out that the reasoning for uncomfortable cramps and irregular periods is because I am ESTROGEN DOMINANT after getting off birth control when I was with Dr. Whelihan. This is very common; but, a better outlook that the doctor could’ve recommended was doing a hormonal panel and figure out what the issue was instead of misdiagnosing endometriosis and putting me on dangerous medication that my body and mental health did not need. Most doctors do not want to do hormone panels and blame they are expensive, but DO IT ANYWAYS.
