2022 May 29: Room had a slight cigarette smell and a blinking battery icon on the thermostat. Mentioned to the manager who had the battery replaced. Room retained its unique aroma. Discovered the room had only one large shower towel as I got out of shower after my wife. Found the same situation the next morning after mentioning the lack of 2 shower towels to the front desk the day before. Breakfast is their standard fastfood fare of eggs, sausages, biscuit and gravy. As a gold member, this particular Holiday Inn was not one of the better ones that I've stayed at.

I don't have a lot of experience with the other hotels in the area but I doubt they get much better than this. Very nice property that is well kept. Free breakfast was good. Location is a little odd as it's so close to a small strip mall. Highway noise can be an issue, keep your ac unit running.

My credit card was charged twice for my one night stay. I stayed April 1 and checked out on April 2nd my card was charged $153.17. I checked out this morning. Just a few minutes ago my card was charged again for $128.17. Called the hotel a few minutes spoke with the desk receptionist on duty at 11:40 am April 2 because an alert came up on my phone that a charge was put on my credit card and when I looked it was from Holiday Inn again. She said she did not see where a charge was put on my card yesterday and basically there was nothing she could do about it.I asked to speak to a manager she said there was not one on duty for the weekend and she would not be back until Monday. I asked for her name and email she told me the mangers name was Sharonda I also asked for her email to show her proof that there was a double charge placed on my card. This is unacceptable and shady. I want my charges corrected the the people at the front desk not knowing what they are talking about is unacceptable because when my credit card company notifies me of a charge that means my card has been charged.

Upon arrival we were thrilled to finally be able to relax after a super busy day. Q greated me with a smile and willing to help and answer any questions! My family and I went up to our room to find a spacious room with a nice bathroom and tastefully decorated. If you do not want the wonderful breakfast at the hotel, ihop is within walking distance and so is Starbucks. All in all, the hotel was a great place to stay!
