It was a great and cozy place to stay. Haunted? We don't know. We didn't get any evidence, but it's hard to tell. I heard things dragging on the floor above me and my grandmother got lightheaded in the ballroom. We had to change rooms because of an air conditioning malfunction. Even though we had to change rooms, the staff was nice and gave us an upgrade in room for our inconvenience.

Hotel is very historic which I found very interesting. The antique furniture and door knobs were very low/short, but the mirrors were all very high lol !!! People were very short in those days and probably didn't want to see them selves in the mirrors lol. The staff was absolutely great !!! Only bad thing is that the town is always closed and there is nothing to do especially on Sunday. As far as the hotel being Haunted, well it's possible, I think it depends on how sensitive you are to the unexplained. I would definitely recommend a night or 2 to see for yourself.

What an amazing historic hotel. Ttuly a gorgeous place. The rooms were spacious, massive ceilings, great insulation and comfortable beds. There was a giant wedding party going on right next to our room, the only one downstairs as it's larger. I don't know how they say this place is only a 2-star hotel. They do offer breakfast and coffee, etc. We had 2 rooms, the larger 2 bed on the bottom and a single upstairs on the second floor. We had great food at the restaurant in the hotel and there was a car show that weekend that was great. Right on the square out the front door. Highly recommend, great place and staff.

There hotel is a treasure. Renovated 1800s vintage. A bit quirky but interesting place. Be sure and explore the hotel and the town square.

To answer your question about The Fitzpatrick being haunted, there are a few friendly ghost, but they give the place a nice cool chill. As for the decor, I would describe it as old world flare. Come visit for yourself. The Fitzpatrick is a lovely quiet place to visit if you're tired of the hustle and bustle of the city. Ask for me, Terri
