Something happen to this salon post Covid. All the good stylist left and prices got jacked up. Wasn’t feeling the good vibes anymore, perhaps it was the front desk, I don’t appreciate the attitude when I have to book an appointment. I mean, I AM the customer and I come when it’s convenient for me not for her. She kept pushing for appointments smack in the middle of the day during the work week even though I told her I had a corporate job with 9-5 kinda hours. After over a decade of a faithful customer I moved on to another salon. I will miss the old salon, hope it gets back to its old roots.

Attentive and highly skilled stylists. Always take time to give their honest opinions and answer any questions. Booking is super easy. Prices are on the higher end but modest relative to other salons in the city, and well worth it IMO.

Hi Melinda! We do depending on how busy we are. We highly recommend booking an appointment over the phone or website to ensure you get a time that works for you. Likely walk in hours are always earlier on a weekday. I hope that helps!
Hi Branden! Our owner Paul does do perms and he can certainly do a free consultation with you. He will be able to determine if your hair is the right length and type for a perm. Feel free to call to book!
Yes! Typically, we have to bleach the hair and then we use timers from Pravana Vivids to create the ‘creative’ color. We do require a free consultation for any first time client looking to get this service so that we can give an accurate price quote and we can confirm the health of your hair. We want to make sure you know how much the service will be and that it will not compromise the health of your hair before we apply any color whatsoever.
Hi Sahar! Our Wicker Park location does not have a private room. However, we will happily open the salon early on a day where you would be the only customer at that time if that works for you. It depends on what you need. If you need a virgin relaxer it cost more than a touch up relaxer. Also, it depends on the level of experience of the stylist. The more experienced the stylist the higher the price. Call the salon and ask for Jana. You may need to do a consultation first. A consultation is complimentary. You may not need a consultation if you can speak with Jana. You may have to leave a message with the front desk receptionist for jana to call you back if she is with a client
