I abided by COVID protocol and tipped big, but apparently I don’t matter as a customer. I never received a text to confirm my next scheduled appointment, but my calendar reminded me. My last haircut grew out a little weird and I was told that if I didn’t keep my body straight my haircut would be uneven, even though I disclosed that I have a posture disorder. I started going to this place after cutting my own hair during the pandemic, it was a big step for me; I don’t understand why I was missed or why I never really felt valued.

Jordy was my stylist this time and it was a phenomenal experience. I went in for a simple haircut and asked for a tiny bit of advice - I usually don't feel comfortable doing that because stylists at other places can sometimes be judgmental since I don't put in much effort to take care of my hair. Jordy was so not like that at all, super welcoming and professional, and took the time to explain several tips and techniques I can use with almost zero effort. In less than an hour I ended up getting an amazing cut and what was essentially a personalized training on improving my hair from an expert.
