Atlantic Beach, North Carolina is beautiful, and a great place to have a picnic and play in the water. We visited the area late September, it was a great time to come as it was warm out, but not hot. The beach wasn't packed so it made for almost a private outing.

This is a great public beach access with tables and places to charcoal grill, kids swing sets, public restrooms, and outdoor showers. Nice clean paved parking.

Only during off season with a pass Oct 1st - March 15th. Ocean Blvd is a drive on access location.
