I had a salad there with steak. It was a really nice salad. I asked to add onions and they added pickled red onions and honestly, they should keep it that way. It was well balanced. The drink I had was good and the bartender was nice.

Wow! We found this place via Google since we were looking for a place to eat after the Harry Potter exhibit. My kids love Mexican so I chose El Rey based on the reviews. It was SO good! We had chips and salsa and the chips were warm with a delicious salsa. We had the chorizo nachos and they were amazing! No soggy chips and the flavours were fantastic! My daughter had the chicken enchiladas which she ate every bit of and my son had the chicken tacos. He killed those too! I had an amazing veggie burrito that was probably the best I have ever had. Dessert was churros and a chipotle brownie and both were outstanding! The churros had some cinnamon sauce that I could eat with anything it was so good! A great place with delicious food, fast service and really eclectic, warm atmosphere. The staff was also fantastic! We can’t wait to go back!
