Staff was friendly. I came in worried about the recent reports of bugs but was reassured by the staff, a 96% health inspection score, and the recently removed furniture by the dumpsters. Renovations were underway (a fact that I was not informed of till check-in). These renovations honestly might have been part of problem. Because later that night I was confronted with many many roaches all over the room. Especially on the counter by the bathroom that had not been fully wiped down from the coffee pot. The floor had also not been swept and sheets and blankets were stained (though presumably clean) and rough. After a rather sleepless night, I was tempted to go over to the nextdoor gas station to get ready. Upon expression of these concerns, staff was understanding and promptly issued a refund (although only for the days that I didn't stay). I hope that the renovations and more thorough cleaning measures will help.

I would not recommend this particular Quality Inn to anyone. I found it to be very unclean to say the least. I found a cockroach in my room, so I decided to inspect the room further. I lifted up the mattress and looked at the top of the box springs and scene mini black bugs crawling. So I forced the front desk to move me to a different room, they were reluctant to do so until I told them that I would just leave and go find a different hotel room. The next room that they put me in was not a great deal better but at least I didn't see any evidence of bugs in that room. Still I woke up this morning with a couple of new bites, can't say definitively what type of bites they are at this point. I certainly hope I did not bring along with me some stowaway critters from that no star rat hole. Pass on this place. BUGS BUGS BUGS!!!!

Avoid this place if you possibly can. We checked in and the room was filthy. They moved us to another room and it was almost as bad. We asked them to clean it and they sent a guy up to look at it. He blamed "the painters" for the way the room looked and he left. 45 minutes later we went to the front desk to find out if they were going to clean the room and the guy (from earlier) said Housekeeping was gone for the day. They brought us some chemicals (spray bottles), some towels, and a broom, NO dustpan, and we cleaned the room ourselves. Worst hotel experience I have ever had. NOT worth $98 for 1 night.

First of all we get to the room and the key card would not work so we went and reported it. Was sent back up and it still didn't work and after having to wait several minutes the maintenance man implied we were doing it wrong and used his machine versus our cards to enter the room...so never admitting their was a problem. Then the air conditioning was not working in the room. The maintenance man came back to room and assured the room wad going to cool down. We leave until about 11:00 pm and upon getting back we discover the room was still just as hot. We call the front desk and they said they were calling maintenance. He never came to the room. We call the front desk again yesterday morning and request a different room and we were informed that there were no more rooms available. So the front desk was going to have maintenance come and look at it while we were out and we get back at 10:30 pm (so they had 12 hours to fix it) and it was hot in the room. Called front desk again to ask for assistance for yet again no maintenance man showed up to help. We got up this morning sweating and unable to sleep and the whole system was frozen solid and we were sweating. Oh and couldn't call front from the room because the phone didn't work. Had to use our cell phones. Worst vacation of our lives due to our hotel experience...too hot to sleep. Couldn't move rooms or switch hotels because everyone was booked up. We want our money back! DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU KNOW WHAT'S GOOD FOR YOU!!! Also had partially used bottles of shampoo and conditioner...yuck! Quality Inn should be embarrassed! I have stayed with them several times...this location has changed my opinion of the Quality Inn name. We are requesting a refund!!!!!! Oh and something else...we asked for room service yo clean the room and all that was done was a towel exchange.

No! It's not near the University and it is NOT worth visiting. The staff is rude. The rooms are seedy and awful. They'll over charge you for everything. The police raid all the time. Please. Spend more money and go elsewhere.
