Just an update to their comment from weeks ago. NOONE has contacted me. Please stay away from them and East coast van lines. I will post the review for them as well. Please please please do NOT use either of these scamming companies.

My family has lived 7 times. Colonial van lines was the worst moving company. They came late and never called me to let me know. They hired a third party to love us. Our stuff was damaged and lives 3 times from truck to truck. Terrible experience all around from customer service to the dispatch. Donna told me I had to rewrite my review in order to get any money back for the inconvenience and ruining most of my furniture. I will not take down this review. I received $341.00 back after paying over $12,000 for moving. Colonial didn't care about my family and what stress they had caused us. DO NOT USE THEM

Colonial out sourced our move to another company after providing an estimate. The other company revised the estimate upwards upon arrival. Increased the 2nd estimate again based on actual weight of the truck, which I never received any paperwork from the scales. Upon delivery only the driver showed up and he needed a rides to get another truck as he couldn't get the semi up the paved county maintained road. Had a guy show up a couple hours in who then quit two hours later. The driver then spent another four hours loading and unloading while resident stood outside on his walker holding a flashlight for him as it was well past dark. Just the tip of the iceberg... very dissatisfied and will never use again.

Update, September we came to a satisfactory resolution. Donna was helpful in resolving. Update, months later, end of August 2022-they still will not settle this. They didn't perform the service but are still charging me for it...just sad and pathetic. Do not use this moving company...their sales people are slick but they can't perform the job. They lost 6 boxes and a piece of furniture and did nothing to try and recover. Every box had our name and cell number on it (just in case) so it is clear someone stole our stuff or they delivered it to someone else who didn't care enough to return it. I asked what they had done to find it and they couldn't tell me they had done anything at all. Very sad situation-my father just passed away and those were important family items I was moving to my home. They then offered me just $200 to "settle" and I was even more offended. I really only ever wanted the items found but now I'm just mad. I think this company is nothing but a scam...seems like they take your stuff or their people do then just pay you back the bare minimum instead of trying to fix anything.

Does anyone know if their Corporate offices are really in Pompano Beach. No one there will answer that question or transfer you to senior management. Something is very wrong with this picture. Too much bait and switch and subcontracting.

Can anyone tell me if there is actually a physical building in Pompano Beach for this company??? They have had our belongings for over 2 months and no one will help us! They have told us twice now that they will be delivering our items and twice

Yes they do, my lawyer actually went there to see about my missing stuff. You're unfortunately dealing with a scam of a company, because I dealt with the same exact issue. To get a real answer from anyone in that company is an absolute joke. Each "Account Manager" has the same lying script.
