My husband and I have been going to The Mending Shed for decades. They are always fair, knowledgeable, and can fix virtually anything. Recently I had two nail guns that jammed -- Rhett removed the bent nails and had both tools running again within minutes. Will continue to support this fabulous local establishment!

I went to get my KitchenAid diagnosed and they were so helpful! It was an easy fix and they taught me how to avoid the issue in the future, as well as service and maintain my mixer on my own. I ended up buying an attachment for my device too. I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. I'll be back for other fixes for sure. 10/10 service, 10/10 price.

I love this place. As more and more places go out in favor of big box stores. As it becomes harder and harder to actually be able to repair appliances or other artifacts, it's nice to know the Mending Shed is there. They have all sorts of old fashioned goods that are hard to find. My family cans tomatoes in the fall. Last year our steamer gave out, I was able to find a new one here. My mother also went with me to get a grinder motor because my father can't turn the crank on the grinder like he used to. Thanks for being there Mending Shed. Hope you stick around for a long while yet.

Incredible customer service! I just took my stand mixer in to be adjusted and she fixed it on the spot and no charge. This store really knows the meaning of great service.

I was in last week and saw a man dropping off a lamp to be fixed. I'd call them to be sure but I think they do.
We sure do! Our clock repairman has worked here since the 70's and does an awesome job!
Daniel, it really depends on what is involved, generally speaking we do not fix electronics, which a Bluetooth speaker would be considered an electronic item. If it comes apart easily and just needs the existing port re-soldered into place we can probably do that. But, we do not carry any parts, so if it needs a replacement port it is not something we would do. The other thing to consider is price, at bare minimum you would be looking at $20, but it could go up to 40-50 depending on the time it takes to repair, and it might just be cheaper to replace it.
No, that is not a part we stock, it is not popular, we can order it, to do so you need to call in and prepay for the part over the phone.
Not much can be done for manual can openers. None of the manufacturers offer replacement parts unless it's a super high quality commercial can opener. Even if we could repair them it would be cheaper to buy a new one. This same thing applies to electric can openers as well. I hope that helps.
Yes we do
Yes we do!
It would require shipping, but there is a really good typewriter repair shop in Mesa, AZ. He specializes in typewriters only and all varieties.
It would be best for you to call them.
Yes. We do need a copy of the receipt.
Yes we do, we either need a copy of the purchase receipt, or a date code/serial number within 3 years of manufacturing.
Yes they do, it's usually a $20 deposit for smaller ones and $30 for larger ones.
