I had purchased 3 other CANNONDALE bikes in the past 12 years from Lees, so I liked the shop. I bought another cannondale bike last week from lees. This one had 29 inch wheels(too big in my opinion) and it was a large bike which is my size. I brought it home and rode it with my son. Right away I didn't like it. It felt unstable, flimsy and cheap, it felt like the frame was going to crack. And making turns was horrible. its a trail bike but it didn't ride like one. It just didn't ride right, not like my older ones. So I brought it back today to return it. I put maybe a mile on it. They charged me $130.00 "restocking fee" which i thought was a joke since I didn't even have it a week and put 1 mile on it! I would understand if it was scratched or damaged but it was inspected and it was fine. They still kept my $130.00! It looked exactly the same as when I purchased it 6 days ago! I thought that was totally unfair. But I didn't cry about it, I sucked it in and I left without making a scene. I liked Lees bikes but I'm angry that they kept %20 of the return. Make sure when you buy something there its what you want because if you return it, they will keep 20% "restocking fee". $130.00 in my case. That's a lot of money! And a lot of money for something you had less than 1 week!! Totally not fair!! I also thought the bike was overpriced for what it was. It was $630.00 plus tax! for a cheapy cannondale made in cambodia! It was a trail 8 series, a lower end model, cheap black seat, only 2 gears on the crank, rode horrible, unstable and just not worth the price. I'm still looking for a bike and I probably wont go back there because of that and I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there either. There are plenty of other bicycle shops. They close too early. they close a 5. Most people work till 5 or 6 so the only oppurtunity is on the weekend.

Do you have it posted for sale anywhere? I'm on the hunt for a new bike myself. I don't want to publicly post my email or cell. This shop was pretty legit though if you intend to sell or trade it in there. They did have used bikes when I visited so I assume they'll do trades or store credit of some kind.

Not sure. But they are some of the most helpful and knowledgeable staffers concerning not only bicycles but locks/locksmiths and accessories for both products. 5 stars service!
