Need a ride? There is no regular taxi service, rental car counters close early, and Lyft and Uber cannot find drivers. By the rental car counters is a touchscreen listing local taxi services. This is a photo of the available services as of July 22, 2022. Your other option is to stand in front of the terminal and wait for Wilson. He drives a silver sedan and holds up a "taxi" sign. If you flag him down, his current price (according to the 3 separate groups of people who found him) is $41 for a ride to downtown Davenport. Good Luck!

Small crowd, easy access, checking smooth, gate check simple, polite all through the process. Don't forget to watch the CDC National rules. Masks required at all times in terminals or plane. Now let's see if my car is still in one piece in long term parking when I return.

This place absurdly books itself as an International Airport. This is Far from it. Regional perhaps. The only food option, past security is weak selection of sandwiches and a few beers. I just spent several hours there, (Not the airport's fault) because of delayed flights. REAL food would have been nice. Otherwise, it's not horrible, but is Absolutely Not an International airport

Just an awesome little Airport! Doesn't get any easier at an airport than this... Talk about low key, especially after you have just arrived from O'Hare! "Everything" is just sooooo much easier and faster here
Thanks! Your review is awaiting moderation.
I think I paid about 35 bucks for the week in long term parking.
Don't think so but call the customer service to double check
Hello Stephen, licensed ground transportation operators are listed on our website - there are many. We require all commercial operators to meet insurance minimum requirements to operate from our facilities.
Its very cheap and convenient
There are cabs, uber and left options. No shuttles or bus options that I'm aware of
Hi Heather, thanks for your question. I have included a link to TSA's website "What Can I Bring" that has instructions for items and how to pack them. TSA has their own requirements for packing and the list is pretty comprehensive. Only certain items would need to be put in plastic bags, and you can search for those items in the search bar. There is also a liquids rule page which would explain the items that need to be in clear plastic bags. I hope this helps! https://www.tsa.gov/travel/security-screening/whatcanibring/all https://www.tsa.gov/travel/security-screening/liquids-rule
US citizens traveling to Guatemala will need a valid US passport for at least six months after the expected duration of their stay. You also need a ticket that documents the round trip. US citizens can stay in Guatemala for up to 90 days without having a visa.
The FAA staffs the Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) at Quad City International Airport. The ATCT provides positive control of all local air traffic above the Quad Cities. The Metropolitan Airport Authority owns and operates the actual airport and employs administrative, public safety, maintenance and operations personnel. Each airline is responsible for staffing of ground support and customer service personnel.
We do have signs on the door that say "no pets". People do travel with small pets on some of the airlines, and service animals are welcome. The preference is the puppy be held. There is a pet relief area west of the short term lot, across from entrance #1. There are baggies there on a little stand if needed.
Yes you can rent a car there even if not flying in or out. There's like 5 rental car companies in there.
Hello, Jay. We do not require that you fly to use our public parking lots. You probably want to select long term parking at $7.00/day. The weekly rate (5-7 days) caps off at $35. You will have two additional paid days on top of that, for the 9-day stay. If you have a large vehicle, camper, or anything with a trailer, please enter the first long term entrance and park in an open area. For an "auto" (assuming regular sized vehicle) you can select anywhere you'd like. You might want to take a photo of where you leave the car when you return.
Hi, Carolyn. We have 3 major airlines that offer connections across the entire US and Internationally as well. We have American via Chicago O'Hare, and Dallas-Ft. Worth; as well as Delta via Atlanta, Detroit, and Minneapolis-St. Paul. Finally, United connects via Chicago and Denver, but the Denver connection would likely not be a contender for east-bound flights. The Charleston, SC airport has service with all three of these airlines. There should be only one connection from Moline/Quad Cities to Charleston, SC through the above mentioned connecting hubs. Please call the airline 800# for prices, visit their websites, or call a travel agent to help you with rates, and schedules. Safe travels!
No all is clear. Thank you.
The Davenport Airport is a general aviation airport, serving the general aviation community. This is also where the Quad City Air Show will be held. All commercial airline and flight activity takes place out of the Quad City International Airport in Moline, IL, just across the Mississippi River into Illinois. Airlines include American, Allegiant, Delta, and United. There are 11 nonstop cities served with connections in 6 hubs: Atlanta, Chicago O'Hare, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, and Minneapolis-St. Paul.
Hi, Fred- we have 4 airlines- American/Envoy, connecting thru Chicago O'Hare and Dallas, Delta with connections in Minneapolis, Detroit and Atlanta, United Express with connections via Chicago O'Hare and Denver, and 4 Allegiant nonstop cities- 5 if you count seasonal service to Punta Gorda/Ft. Myers returning this December. The other 4 cities are Orlando-Sanford, Las Vegas, Phoenix Mesa and St. Pete/Clearwater. Each nonstop Allegiant flight operates twice/week. There are some seasonal changes occasionally to this schedule. Please visit qcairport.com for more info!
Hi, Lera. It all comes down to pricing. The long term lot is our most economical choice at $7 per day, or $35 for days 5, 6 and 7. (The rate doesn't begin charging again until the 8th day.) The short term lot is more of a premium because the spaces are so much closer to the entrance/exit doors, and is $15 a day, or $75 for days 5, 6, and 7. I hope this helps- link to parking info here. You can choose the lot you want to be in based on the price. https://www.qcairport.com/parking -C. R.
Nothing is affected on IL side of state for access. Assuming you mean you are coming from the North but East on 80.... from the IL side, not the Iowa side of Interstate 80. There is construction related to the I-74 bridge crossing over the MIssissippi, between IA & IL which is why we are asking.
Hi, Patricia. If you are parking in our lot, you would just follow the crosswalks to the South towards the facility. If you are in need of assistance with your luggage or from the lot, please call 309-764-9621 and you will be re-directed to our customer care team who can explain options to you. Also, if you'd like to look at a map of our facility, here is a link to view. http://www.qcairport.com/maps You can make each item larger, by clicking on it. -C. Rochau
HI, our long term lot is $7 per day, so $28 would be the total for 4 days.
once on the airport ring road, there are several entrances to access long term. You will need to push the green screen button to access a ticket, and then the gate arm will open for entry.
No, not yet Susan- we hope to have this available by the time the snow flies again later in 2019- maybe 3rd or 4th Quarter. We are working on options! If you are alone, you can call our offices to schedule a skycap from your car to the terminal for help inside. 309-764-9621, ask for Customer Care. Or, if you are getting dropped off by a friend or neighbor, they can drop you off with your bags at the curb.
Yes, however, we have some tips as to which long term entry to use, and some requests as to what part of the lot is best for us both. Also, we would like to know how long you intend on leaving the RV parked. For faster service, please use Facebook Messenger to reach us directly so we can message you details. Our facebook page is Quad City International Airport (MLI). Thank you!
As stated above. I have flown many times into Sanford.
Not that I have seen, but I suggest you call them and ask
Hi there. We have both long term (lesser cost) and short term (higher daily cost) parking, and do not run out of spaces here. Information may be found here: http://www.qcairport.com/parking Thank you, let us know if you need more information. -C. Rochau
Yes, however your chances of securing a cab to go that distance are much better with an appointment-based reservation. I recommend calling each provider and ask them for a rate to Galesburg from the QCIA. Have the date & time ready. They will wait for you here and watch your flight time. YOu will want to have a price to decide if you want to finalize that reservation/appointment. It will be more difficult to secure a taxi or ground shuttle without an appointment because of the drive time there & back. Also, if you want to rent a car (I know there are age restrictions, I believe it's 25 y/o) you can call a variety to secure a rate and reservation for a car as well. Both taxi and rental car information available at www.qcairport.com, click the "transportation" section on the website. (For the cab appointments, note that Airport Express is located in Iowa City- they are not based here.) Additionally, you may call and reserve whatever company you would like, even one in Galesburg. -C.R.
Yes, Glenda, we are open. Some flights didn't arrive last night, so, some were cancelled this morning. However as the day goes on, there are many on the board for on time arrivals & departures. Visit your airline website or qcairport.com, and search the arrivals and departures boards there. -C.R.
Hello, Terona! While we don't have Southwest, we do have Delta Airlines who offers three daily nonstop flights to Atlanta. We hope that you check them out! Thank you, C. Rochau, Marketing, QCIA.
Good afternoon! the Orlando flight on Allegiant to the Sanford airport, is on Thusdays and SUndays. However, for the last two weeks in August and and the whole month of September '18, those flights are on a seasonal break which is very common once school goes back in session- as the travel drops off, so they take a break. All service to Orlando-Sanford starts up again early October and the Sanford flight resumes 10/4, and picks back up on the Thurs/Sun schedule. If you are looking during from now prior to the 4th of October, you would have to make 1 connection (for instance, via Atlanta, or some connecting hub) and that would take you into the Orlando main International Airport. Otherwise, if your travel is from 1/4 onwards, their schedule is available for booking now into early February of 2019. Thanks for your inquiry! -C. Rochau, QCIA
Hello, Ric. Airports offer wheelchair services for transport to and from the gate, and if necessary, on what they call an aisle chair for assistance onto the plane into the seat. If your wife has her own wheelchair and this is your preference, please call the airline you are going to book your travel with (American, United if going Via Chicago) to discuss. What they usually do is bring things like strollers and wheelchairs up first into the jetbridge, for people to collect there to use for transport. However, they do offer this transfer service if proper notes are made in the reservation record. The best thing to do is call the airline to ask about which option might work best for you. Please feel free to reach out again if you need more information or other question arise. Thank you, -Cathie R. QCIA
Hi there, Carl. We don't really assist with airfare quotes/purchases, and exact prices are based on more specifics such as date of travel (there and back), the airline you want to fly on, and a few other things. We do have nonstop American Airlines service to Dallas-Ft. Worth daily, and many other connections within the state. However, you can also fly other airlines to get to your final destination. If you are not an experienced traveler, and are looking for prices and schedules for your trip, please call a local travel agent in your area. Otherwise, you will have to call all of the 800# of the airlines, having your dates & preferred times on hand, to get quotations for the fare. We have American, Delta, and United airlines with connecting flights into many TX cities. Plus, the nonstop DFW flight daily, which can either be nonstop, or connecting to other cities. There are many variables. We hope this helps! -C. Rochau
According to American Airlines website, the charge is $25. You can always call to double check.
Yes, unfortunately at that time food will only be available through machines. Although according to the website, the terminal gift shop opens at 4:00am.
Our Long term lots are the most economical at $7 per day. The rate holds until you get to day 5, and the weekly max of $35.00 holds days 6 & 7. The week starts again on day 8 parked, at $7.00 again. So $35/week (5-7 days) and then +$7 for each day thereafter. -C. Rochau
Short term parking is $1 for the first hour and $2 for each added hour after that...
I would check the TSA website, they are fairly clear on what food items are allowed in carry on or checked bags
If I remember right...it was $7/day in long term parking
No. Any govt issued ID is fine
Hi, Vern- all types of credit cards are accepted at our kiosk readers, whether used inside at the pay stations or outside at the automatic/unattended pay stations. The pay inside option is meant to be used once you arrive back home, it is NOT a pre-pay before you depart system. Claim any luggage first, before pre-paying at the kiosk. Once you reach the kiosk readers at the exit, you may use either your receipt OR the parking ticket to scan at exit and the gate will raise. Scan your bar code on your parking ticket at the machine (note, not inserting the ticket, it's a scan/read) and then the balance will total. Next, you can insert your card. There are some instructions on the pay units to follow. More information at qcairport.com/parking
Check online Google flights or Expedia
There are no non-stop flights to New York. You'd have to connect through Chicago or Detroit.
What do you do when you loss a ID and you need aID to go back home for a ticket.
Yes. There are three daily flights to Atlanta via Delta from Moline.
