Super time crunched to have roof redone for Sale. Dakoma was super responsive, professional and reasonable. Permit secured and roof was torn off and redone with 2 weeks to spare. Entire area was left clean and neat too! I couldn't be happier and will recommend them to everyone I know! Awesome job, Thanks again Dakoma!

I wanted to wait until after a heavy rain to write my review. I had gotten a quote for flat roof replacement about a year ago but I didn't decide on changing it until now. When I first spoke to Joel this time, he updated my quote and ensured me the roof would be installed before Thanksgiving. Well, I didn't believe him because it was only a month away and we had to get the permits. Turns out he wasn't lying, the permits were ready in a week and the roof was installed the week after. So, basically my roof was installed in two weeks from the time I contacted him to sign the contract. I gotta say Wow! to that. On the first day of install, the crew arrived early as promised. Eddie seemed to be the man in charge and he was extremely nice and accommodating. But again, I don't usually trust anyone from what they say. I believe in facts. They worked all day and basically the second day was just to apply the finishing touches. They said they would be back here the next day around 7:30 am. And they were, but only to take some of their tools and say they would be back around noon. I was confused. I called Joel and he said they had cracked the last row of tiles hanging over the flat roof, and they were attempting to find the same tiles. I understand they have lots of jobs to go to and organize their schedule as best and efficient as they can. And hey! That's great... sh** happens, but I can't give them 5 stars for not keeping me informed from the beginning as it turns out I had spare tiles in my shed and they could've worked all morning that day already. But again, Eddie was very accommodating and cleaned up after themselves each day. And after the heavy rains yesterday, I saw no roof leak whatsoever. So, to sum it up, Dakoma Roofing is a fair-priced reliable roofing company. My roof was ready in one and a half days and the inspection passed the next day. Joel was a patient and professional man. I'm not an easy customer to deal with and he always followed through. Joel, you're the man! Thank you for installing my two flat roofs.

Not necessarily. Leaks can result from flashings that have come loose or a section of the roof system being damaged. A complete roof system failure, however, generally is irreversible and a result of improper installation or choice of materials. The roof system installation may also be inappropriate for the home or building.
All too often, roof system problems are discovered after leaking or other serious damage occurs. Periodic (twice-a-year) inspections often can uncover cracked, warped or missing shingles, loose seams and deteriorated flashings, excessive surface granules accumulating in the gutters or downspouts, and other visible signs of roof system problems. Indoors, look for cracked paint, discolored plasterboard, and peeling wallpaper as signs of damaged roof areas.
Costs vary greatly depending on the pitch of your roof, the type of shingles you have, what condition the roof is in, and how many layers of shingles you have. The best way to find out the cost is to have a quote done.
While a lot of people think that a leaking roof needs to be replaced, this may not be the case unless the roof is old. Missing, cracked, broken, and curling shingles can be repaired and replaced to stop a leak, while older roofs or roofs with multiple leaks or widespread issues should be replaced.
