We reserved our spot in April and like many others we did so because of Pirates Cove, upon arriving we see two empty pools with a slab of concrete between the two, needless to say the kids were very disappointed. Something should be advertised on the website that it isn't completed. The lake was decent but the fish that kept "biting" were some what of a deterrent, the kids enjoyed the waterside. The beach area was small and dirty, the pool inside the motel was FREEZING and had a ton of dirt in the bottom, the hottub was dirty and had a huge drop-off that you couldn't see if the jets were on. The campsites were so close the people's septic drain was right out our door so we got to "enjoy" smelling that. We got locked in the pool room it was a good thing a motel room was open or we wouldn't have been able to get out. The staff in the office weren't the friendliest, it was as if you were bothering them if you went in and asked them anything, only one lady was pleasant We don't plan on coming back even when the Waterpark is completed.

Water Park / outdoor pools were not open as advertised. It has a long way to go before being complete. The campground did not let us know before hand nor did they return my call asking if it was open. All public trashes were overflowing the entire trip. The mini golf course was nice but again needed some attention. Parts were broken, trash on the course, and just needed a sweep/cleaning. The water slide into the lake also has limited hours. They didn't open it one of the days we were there due to having no one to staff it all while we could see 4-5 people just sitting around in the office. That all said the kids had a lot of fun and overall the staff was friendly. It has potential to be a really nice park.

We have been camping here for 7years. This year they have new owners. I paid extra to lock our site in, we were then moved sites, smaller and uneven site, without being notified at all. They will not refund the money and said it’s a credit to be used at their store. They did nothing to resolve the situation or comp us in anyway. We will not being coming back here and do not recommend this camp ground to anyone. We were not the only campers with issues like this.

A great campground for the whole family including your pets. Many activities for everyone to enjoy. It is a very busy campground, a lot of kids running around riding bikes, adult on golf carts driving around. It does get a little dusty because of all the gulf carts. Over all the campground is very clean, staff is very helpful they will even pick up your trash and take it to the dumpster in the morning if you set it by the road.

Yes primitive I believe, no electricity. Near by porta potty. Flush toilets further.
We are public
Adventure Bound no longer allows tents and campers to be on the same sites.
they also have some hotel rooms in main building with walkout to pool if you want less space.
It is a campground. You will need a tent or RV of some kind.
I am not sure! We had a full access site for our RV for 4 days for $182
Some are

Who knows what they will have now. New owners. Just be prepared to spend an arm and a leg. New owners raised the price. Sadly this will be our last trip there. We booked last year so still got the old rate.
Depending on the type of lot is available, it is about $2000 for the season. The rates are listed on the website. A great thing is that includes storing your RV on your lot, as long as your deposit is paid. It's a great park!!
Trailers are still available for rent. Contact for availability and pricing.
Jim Harris. They got rid of all but 1 trailer this year.
As previously mentioned. $30 a night, 2 night minimum. I too have seen tents on RV. Sites but not on holiday weekends.
They are open. No damage done
