I had Blackened Catfish smothered in crawfish tails and my gorgeous Wife had bronzed Chicken Alfredo... Both dishes beautifully served in healthy portions. My catfish was the best I've ever had! The atmosphere was fun and the server was great. We will return without question!

Catfish was way over cooked along with the hush puppies that were close to uneatable. Service was good and polite, but the food was lacking detail. For the high prices we paid, this was Very disappointing and we will not be back.

Extremely slow service, especially for a slow night. Brought a real ragin Cajun with me. Her shrimp and grits were not traditional and was more soup then dish. My jambalaya tasted ok but was really lacking in flavor. Our side of rice …

L o v e Pearls, I’ve been coming here since a child and their fish quality has remained consistent over the past twenty years. The food is not inexpensive, but I would say it’s well worth the price* The decorations and food make you feel like they really know what they are doing. Elk rapids is lucky to have pearls and pearls is lucky to have elk rapids! If you are in the area (aka 30 - 40 miles would even be worth it) you must must swing by Pearls. * the one single exception…. The fish PoBoy I ordered was pretty light on the fish…. Probably a 3 bread to 1 fish ratio per bite.
