So disappointed in this company, customer service from the girls in office is the only saving grace (reason for the 1 star) with a delivery that not only was a special order, but we were pushed till end of the day to receive it....we didn't even mind that or the day of delivery re-scheduled but waiting to receive sod and then seeing half of it in burnt/dry condition was really upsetting. Once we finished checking pallets of the sod, more than half of was bad. I tried reasoning with the girls in office as I cannot advise my client to wait 2-3 wks for it to be green, who would pay you and be happy with that answer. Who would trust you to wait??? They wouldn't even give us a partial credit or provide the 1 pallet replacement that we needed. Our customer of course was upset after waiting long for the material for us to finish project not being able to deliver the quality we always do. The managers lost a lot of business from us (right now we have multiple commercial projects for end of year), sadly they obviously not care enough to make things right (they said its the time of year and that it will come back...but I can't give those excuses to a customer). Really shocked still that this small business just doesn't care to make things right.

I am very happy with my experience buying and having 4 pallets of sod installed today by Sunset Sod. From the excellent explanations and communication by Vicky via phone and email, to the superb installation by Willie, German, and Andrew, I would highly recommend this company of professionals. They were reasonably priced, too!

I first would like to thank Sunset Sod for their professionalism and expertise in this field. From the very beginning, when I began to inquire on how to re-sod my lawn, Sunset Sod guided me every step of the way. The delivery and the re-sodding were done as agreed and on a timely manner. The quality of the sod had to “A+”for sure. On a last note, I would like to thank Katie and Brian, whom I spoke to the most and guided me with the necessary steps to keep the sod lush and green. But most importantly, the installation crew, they were fantastic and instrumental in the way the sod was placed. I would certainly recommend Sunset Sod to those looking to re-sod their lawns. P.S. this entire transaction was done over the phone!
