Cottages By the Ocean

Hi Penny, thanks for asking. There is no pool at this property. The cottages have big screened-in porches that guests tend to enjoy even more than a pool since the ocean is so close. But our sister property Bahama Beach Club three blocks away, has a beautiful tropical pool for the same rate. It is not heated because it is in the sun all day. There are only a handful of days during the year that it is too cold for people to swim.

Thanks for asking. We do accept well-behaved, small dogs under 20 pounds for a pet fee, and we have one apartment where we allow cats. The pet fee is like an extra person charge and typically costs less than boarding a pet. It is $100/pet/week for shorter stays, and discounted for longer stays. Rates are based on which property, what size apartment, what time of year, and length of stay just like any hotel serving tourists and business travelers. Nightly rates would be about the same as the price of a single hotel room in a business class hotel, but you get an entire apartment with all of its amenities. Weekly rates are discounted, and our biggest discount is our four-week rates. Many of our guests need to stay a month or more while in town for a work project, waiting for a new home to close, or when doing extensive repairs on their homes.
