I've been in Hoover for a long time now and Cajun Steamer has seriously made large strides to grow and adapt during these strange times. Their atmosphere and food is amazing! Haven't ordered Mussels anywhere but 30a and they were perfect. Crab Claws and even Oysters were great. Give them a shot!

5/5 stars! Will eat again! Seriously, the closest thing to authentic Cajun outside of Louisiana. And great service. Everything tastes great and the employees are very friendly. I come for the delicious food, but I stay for Katie! (Or have I got the order confused again? 😜) PLEASE OPEN A TUSCALOOSA LOCATION!!!

This is usually one of my go to spots but unfortunately this time my service sucked. I guess my server Rachel didn’t want to work but we got our food with no silverware and looked for her and she’s sitting down in the front of the restaurant never came to check on us. We had to ask other servers available to help us. I haven’t been in awhile and I guess I’ll have to keep it that way.
