I visited a friend's unit on the top floor and the view was great. The building seemed to be well taken care of with active work going on to improve the outside. There was at least one pool and other amenities to keep you active It was quiet on the Sunday I stopped by and I would not hesitate to recommend this place to someone looking for a condo on Merritt Island. Views east of Sykes Creek and beyond, views west of the mall parking lot, which I could do without, but no one parks on that side anymore anyway, so minimal traffic.

I happen to live at Merritt Towers and have for 8 yrs. Merritt Towers is conveniently located across the street from the JC Penney entrance to the Merritt Island Mall. There is a drug store and restaurants within walking distance. Merritt Towers is a great place to live and backs on to Sykes Creek. It is also a great spot to watch the rockets launch, watch fireworks on New Years and the 4th of July and enjoy the dolphins - all from your balcony.
