Just bought a banana 🍌 split and the banana had black spots all over and the employee couldn’t even bother taking all of the peeling off. And before you say what’s in the picture is chocolate syrup, no, it’s a black spot. Banana splits aren’t cheap, the banana should be nothing less than perfect. And I’m not the type that sends back food to correct. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry and have seen first hand what happens to food that gets sent back, I just won’t patronize Dairy Queen in Fairfield again. I mean you probably saved 20 cents by using that bad banana, but you lost a long time weekly customer.

This place is disgusting. I spend 50$ here and after what I experienced 2 weeks ago, I will never return. My mother is the one that always goes out to buy everything, this day I decided to go (first time) so I wasn’t to sure how it worked. I ordered what I ordered which was 46$. Complete chaos. The system is not so smart. Apparently you order you order at the tiny window, step aside while others are taking other people orders, once your order is up that’s when you pay. Anyways, we were stepped to the side for 5 minutes which I feel is a while to wait for ice cream, this young woman with red hair takes a customer that came way after me order & placed it on the counter. She ordered exactly what one of the items I ordered so I grabbed it (again I didn’t know how this worked at the time), and immediately and disgustingly the employee with red hair said “that’s not for you.” & looked at them woman and gave her a big smile and told her it’s for her. As if she’s trying to belittle me. I told the employee it’s not that serious, you could’ve politely told me that it wasn’t for me and it could’ve been the end of story. The customer was very nice and told me to take it but I refused because of the disgusting and looks the employee was giving me. I forgot to mention when I grabbed the ice cream I handed it to my son because that’s what he ordered. Instead of the employee seeing a kid excited for his ice cream have it, she did what she did. I mean, I felt after waiting so long and this person just practically came that it was mine. The employee continued to prepare other peoples order and kept looking bad staring at me with the dirtiest look. I’m with my two kids, what you’re not going to do is try to embarrass me and try to intimate me. I told her idk what she keeps looking at and she eruptly laughed in my face. I mean honestly, all of this over something so small. Ridiculous. Once I left I sat in my car and observed all of them standing around laughing joking about the situation and I knew they were because they kept looking at my car and doing this. It honestly felt like I was being racially profiled. Let’s not take care of the mixed family that just spent 46$ And give all the attention to the white women who just spent 3$. Seriously I will never come back here. It’s not worth complaining because they reply with the same robotic paragraph all the time. Teach these young people you have working in your establishment mannerism and compassion. It really looks bad. She should not be working in any job involving customer service. Also I noticed all the employees care more about socializing and talking amongst themselves then helping customers. They also do not greet you. When you walk up to the window it’s “what can I get for you?” Not a hi how are you today. Shame on you guys. Outside of the ice cream shoppe is also very dirty.
