The place never fails to give me a headache 😩. But aside from that,... Nebraska folks are just a cut above when it comes to how we treat others, so of course the staff is AmAAZingg. Best to avoid the jail though!!

I worked with Gina in the Treasurer's department. She was awesome! She was so very helpful and informative. I bought a new-to-me vehicle, though plates and taxes weren't a new process for me, she explained everything, and walked me through what she was doing and all the price totals. She even offered to renew my tags due next month on my other vehicles, before I even asked! She was polite and was honestly so very pleasant to work with. I wish I could request her next time I come the treasurer's office, not that anybody else there is unpleasant. Awesome experience on this visit!

Phone calls made directly to the courthouse are not recorded so if you ask if you have pending fines and they tell you there is nothing on record and it eventually pops up again and they arrest you for said fine good luck. All I have is the date and the time I placed my call but I can't even use that in court. Crooked county.

Contract County Attorneys office and county court. They will give you time to pay after a guilty plea or your found guilty in a trial, ask the judge usually understanding if your not telling them a bunch of lies.
