There should be speed limit signs and enforcement. Those trucks passing behind the scales are traveling at a high rate of speed. There have been several near misses . Those trucks are in a big hurry.

You don't need to go through the scales after hours. It was no charge drive up and discard household items and there is also a bin for old electronics. This was convenient because you can't just discard broken flat screens in your normal garbage.

The landfill takes yard waste in Cell-2 for a nominal fee for the typical homeowner with a pickup or years trailer or by weight for larger or obviously commercial loads. Today for a 7x14x3 dump trailer mostly loaded with limb trunk and branches was $21. I don't know the tonnage rate...

I think there is a $5.00 minimum then $20.00 per ton. Brush and construction debris are dumped in different zones so make sure it's seperated.

There are local drop off centers throughout the county for household trash. You don't have to go all the way to Aberdeen. There's a place on Crane Creek road, and one on 15/501 across from Cooper Ford, just to name a couple. They are open 7-7 Monday thru Saturday
