Very nice City Park. Please obey the no swimming signs. Someone has released piranha in the lake.

I love the trails here. They are well maintained and easy to walk. The full loop is about 1.5 miles. The views of the lake are really nice.

Absolutely beautiful and clean. Lots of parking. Covered picnic area with tables. Two grills and a playground. Restrooms are clean.

Great location for a family get together! We had 20+ that met for a cookout. We played outdoor games, some climbed on the slides and playground, and we walked around the lake in the trail. Excellent day! Clean restroom.

The weather has delayed the work on the dam. The work should be completed within the next two weeks, weather permitting. As soon as all work is completed the lake will be filled.
They're rebuilding the dam.
You can fish in Aberdeen Lake from the shore or in a non-motorized boat.
Yes, there is a trail that goes around Aberdeen Lake that is 2 miles. It follows the shoreline of the lake and is a gravel path. We also have a paved short trail at Ray's Mill Park (837 Saunders Ave) where 5 laps around it is 1 mile.
We were told fish are NOT edible due to chemical runoff.
The people who were fishing said that it was good.... However I don't know if you can eat the fish. You should check with the park staff to see if it is safe to eat the fish.
Any person age 16 and older needs to have a state fishing license to fish in Aberdeen Lake.
Boating (no gas engines), kayaking, paddle boarding, etc. is allowed in Aberdeen Lake.
Partially filled
I was there today for the first time.....A woman was there with two dogs off leash, one started at me barking.....Rules should be posted.....Thank you
The only thing I read was they filled it for 4th of July celebrations, but they were going to drain it for repairs and reopen it when they were finished.
