Build a bridge FFS!!! We waited 5 1/2 hours on Ocracoke and sadly that will definitely be our last visit unless they build a bridge 🙄🙄🙄 We even called the ferry service asking about the wait and the workers had no idea. Several runs were cancelled despite multiple events that weekend. At least find a way to let passengers know what kind of wait they'll have to expect!

Avoid at all costs in the off season. Ferries run erratic schedules, you will sit and watch many leave without you as the locals zip on ahead of you via the priority lane

Schedule on website was wrong. There was no ferry at 1200 or 1300. Very little communication as to when you could expect to get on boat.
