Made the mistake of placing my husband here thankfully I corrected it by signing him out less than 24 hrs later AMA. This is the place nightmares are written about. If your loved ones are here I feel badly for them. 2 beds to a room that should have 1. Literally maybe 3-4 ft between beds. The few patients I did see (2) walking around were begging and following staff asking for a drink of water. One pt stated she'd been asking for over an hour and so had the "other people". And they were being ignored. Personally my husband who is left side laterally impaired was placed in a bed with his tray table on his left side. Lunch in a Styrofoam container, drink covered, and fruit cup upside down unopened on his blind side when we arrived well after lunch time. This happened even after I specifically informed his nurse and aide of his impairment the day prior. Which neither apparently bothered to read in the extensive chart that accompanied my spouse. When I questioned them then as to his lack of hydration of any kind then even. Reguardless of this facilities policy of visitation when there is a roommate, someone needs to clue them of the ADA laws for cognitively impared patients as they have a total disregard for the law as it applies. The staff showed little if any interest in carrying through even their own policys that I was told the day before were to occur. Most if not all of the patients were in their beds. Barely any staff the ratio was way worse than I was told. The only person working at all were the janitor and the young girl at the check in office. I have pictures to back up my claims. This place is a dump of epic proportions. This facility is an excellent example of why facilities such as this have such a lousy reputation.
