A small, intimate garden right off the main road, the Fayetteville Rose Garden offers a variety of roses to view and can be a nice place to relax before heading to your dinner plans. Unfortunately, the garden is small. We had dinner reservations at a local spot nearby and had some time to spare so we decided to stop, and there was a group of people taking pictures together. The fact that they were taking pictures wasn’t the issue, but where they were standing made it so that the entire back half of the garden was in the photo, and then kept changing the directions they were taking them. Obviously, we didn’t want to be rude and be in their photos, so we kept moving so we wouldn’t be in the background, but it prevented us from really getting to spend time there. If you are already in the area and want to make a quick stop, you should, but don’t go out of your way to go there; otherwise, you may be caught in a similar situation.

Hi Russ: Yes when I was there last some years ago my husband and I ate there. At that time there was one picknic table under a tree. Don't know what is there now. You might check. Hope this helps. Have a great day Barb

Yes, The Fayetteville Rose Garden is free to the public to enjoy. The FRG has over 27 different named roses totalling over 600 rose bushes. The water fountain is back in operation now. Dee-Lish is one of the most fragrant rose in the garden. The garden was established in 1970 by the Fayetteville Rose Society.
