So far community hospice has been a Godsend. Received the medical supplies mom need within 24 hrs after consultation. Aid to start coming. I don't think we will have any problems. They have already helped tremendously.

Need help with my 89 yr old ain't who's in late stages of dementia. The company started of nice aid come every day help give my aunt a bath did pretty good. The next following week so doesn't come, the first 3 days she didn't even call to let us know she's not coming, the next week after that she only come twice( at anytime of the day) and only stays 15 mins because it's 4:30 in the afternoon and we have already cleaned her. CNA isn't a no experience no education type of job. If you want to get paid for nothing this isn't the job for you

With pain and symptom management, as well as education and support, hospice care allows patients and families to focus on what is truly important When Life Matters Most. Hospice is a team of specially trained health care professionals caring for the patient and relieving anxiety for the caregiver/family. Our hospice support team helps patients and families with pain and symptom management, social, emotional, and grief issues. Hospice brings comfort and quality to the remaining months, weeks, and days.
Hospice care is for people who have a life-limiting illness with a life expectancy of six months or less, and have chosen to focus on comfort care over treatment. Hospice works with the patient and family to develop a plan of care specific to their disease and individual needs. Eligibility criteria includes frequent hospitalizations, progressive weight loss, deteriorating mental abilities, frequent infections, and/or an overall decline in condition.
