I’ve hear good things about this place, but was very disappointed in it. We waited almost 45 minutes for a sandwich and a bagel. And there were multiple hairs in the sandwich. Not pleased with this at all.

Note to owner of Gotham Bagels. The pandemic is over and you can end the theatre. I love the bagels and at one time the C0vid protocols were needed. But what you are doing is a farce. You’ve got your doors blocked off and force online orders only with window pickup with long wait times. You and your employees work unmasked, ignoring social distances. Yet you continue to make it inconvenient for your loyal customers by not taking walk up orders. Most are complaining and put up with this nonsense because they need their bagel fix. However, I believe that customers vote with their wallets. You can be sure that I’ll never come back.

They have one of the better contactless systems I've seen in Madison. You order online using a well organized, slick website. They text when you're order is ready and you pick it up through a one-way pickup window. They've essentially retrofitted a window system into their front door. It has sliding glass doors that separate you from the employee. You simply tell them your name, they open the windows to set your order in, then you open your set of windows to receive it as the employee shuts their window. All in all, a phenomenally well thought-out and safe system.
