This is a popular restaurant in Raleigh for many reasons. It's not in downtown so it is easier to get to since it's in a shopping center strip mall with plenty of parking. Margaux's has been a favorite for years and this most recent trip did not disappoint. The staff was wonderful. Our waitress was very attentive while other support staff constantly checked on us to ensure drinks were full, plates cleared and if anything else was needed. The food was delicious while their menu choices offer a huge variety for everyone. I went with a work colleague/friend for dinner. We enjoyed the Tuna and roasted cauliflower appetizers. He had the filet and I had the grouper entrees. We each had dessert and they were as good as they looked. Check out the photos of their wonderful profiterols and dense chocolate brownie. This is consistently on Raleigh's best of list for dining and you'll agree after experiencing the delightful dining experience this restaurant offers.

Had dinner at Margauxs for the first time last night and it was horrible. The only enjoyable part of the experience was our lovely waitress and glass of prosecco with house made limoncello. As for the meal....we had the worst food I've ever eaten....from appetizer to dessert and ended up with a $250 bill. We started with a sushi roll that had canned pineapple in the center and stale rice....absolutely awful and just a bizarre combo. Pretty much everything on the menu follows suit....bizarre combos and awful. Our entrees were terrible and wildly overpriced. Dessert was shockingly disgusting. Profiteroles, cream puffs, done well are delicate and absolutely delicious. We ordered profiteroles and what arrived at our table was a literal mountain of cheap awful vanilla ice cream with a stale thin cream puff slapped on top. I've honestly never seen anything like it. The $250 bill just added insult to the entire experience and I was so hungry when we got home, I ended up microwaving leftover Mellow Mushroom pizza that honestly tastly vastly better than anything served at Margaux's.
