Stayed here for a month 7 yrs ago and loved it enough to return. What a mistake that was! If your stay is 2 weeks or less they put you in a row where everyone is on top of each other. There are no trees and the lights are on all night long. We had to buy black out shades and a tarp to put over the bed in our tent camper to block out the light. It is like sleeping in a Wal-Mart parking lot. The cable didn't work. The sites are not cleaned or maintained. The bathrooms have not been updated since our last visit, 7 yrs ago. There was trash in the fire pit when we arrived and it will still be there when we leave, which is 10 long days from now. Access to our water was another problem. The 1 woman in the office was very nasty and condescending. I asked her if we could move our site and she went ballistic. She was indignite when I asked her why we weren't given our site # when we booked back in February? She did not liked being challenged. I could accept her answer except for the fact she was so nasty. Zero customer appreciation for $1080.00 we are paying. She didn't even fake being concerned or caring. I do intend on contacting the parent company. It will be interesting to see if any of the empty sites get filled. There is no access to the dock via the campground as advertised either. There used to be. Since we are very familiar w/the area we knew how to go. They still have demolition going on in the 1 part of the park. The ONLY thing this place has going for it is location. Other than that I'd advise you to find some place else to spend your $$$

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff clean pool quiet campground clean facilities and private bath houses friendly permanent residents Full hookup Cons: Wifi isn't free. However, I paid $15 for wifi and sometimes I'm on and sometimes it's says no internet available. I'm assuming because so many are online BUT.... not getting what I paid for is a bit of a bummer. We couldn't stream Netflix or Hulu AT ALL! Office closes at 4pm! That means no one to run the little store and no help checking in. No fire wood on site! You must bring your own or find some somewhere else, once you're here. Not all sites have firepits, which I consider a bummer. I did call maintenance and tell him my kids were adamant about smores when camping and they did bring me a fire ring. There are no trees to shade camp sites. Permanent residents have trees but not the sites we were on. Lots and lots of permanent campers. If you don't like that sort of thing, this likely isn't the best place for ya. There are also LOTS of bugs- fire ants got me good the first night, in my campsite.

I didn't ask the names of residents here and I didn't see a power washer anywhere. Not sure.
Beware if your staying as part of thousand trails. But yes about 15 minutes
I believe both... Encore owns, but it is within the Thousand Trails network.
No, I don't believe so..we never have seen any
Not sure I did see a tent by an RV they were on the same lot
Wasnt there so dont know
Wondering the same thing...
Best way to find out is to call the property/ recreation manager
I'm not sure how much the rent is. I do know that my brother and other people live there year round in their RV's.
