Great supper club atmosphere. We were there on a Wednesday and it was quite busy they probably could have used another server. The majority of our food was good but two people in our group received steaks that weren't done properly. The med rare came out rare and the medium came out med rare. Unfortunately our server never came back and asked how things were. So we ended up just taking the steaks home as left overs.

I had high expectations for Toby's. The happy hour drinks starting at 4pm were good. We ordered at the bar and seated a bit after. Salad was basic. Relish and rolls also ok. Rolls not warm. Steaks were prepared just right and a good value for the price but not better than that. Service was very good.

Very kind waitstaff and bar tenders! Lobster was excellent (this is coming from an Alaskan girl who is picky about seafood). We enjoyed our steaks and cod too. As others have mentioned there is a wait to be seated but the atmosphere makes it enjoyable, as do the old fashioneds ☺️

Never knew what a “supper club” was before I was in the Madison area - super cool family owned spot. You can tell this place takes pride in what they put in front of their customers. If you’re in the mood for a good meal - solid food - local - and a bit vintage - head to this place.
