Arthur Simonds at the parts department sold me a wrong oil filter, which caused me significant time loss and inconvenience. My 2022 Tucson’s oil got flushed and was stranded at another auto shop due to this wrong filter, while I had to find rides for two days and make alternative arrangements for work and travel plans with friends. I called the parts department to ask them to deliver a correct filter to Pep Boys after I found out their mistake. But their staff not only did not apologize ever for once but also was not a problem solver. He basically said Pep Boys have to call them but he cannot guarantee the part can be delivered the day of. Alternatively, either I or Pep Boys have to come in to pick it up. When I laid out the inconvenience caused by their mistake, no apology was made and he just did not care. Mistakes do happen but this place has no capacity to apologize, fix their own mistake or provide compensation for the inconvenience caused by their service. If you consider buying new cars from Hyundai, keep in mind you might not be able to get an oil change easily, because their availability is way far out. If you do find another shop that can take you, you have to get the parts from Hyundai because they don’t make it widely available. We have made several phone calls to find a shop that can take us, and multiple trips just to get an oil change. It’s a ridiculous ordeal.

I will never go back or recommend Elk Grove Hyundai. We had an 8 AM appointment today. This appointment has been scheduled for weeks. We arrived 10 minutes before the appointment and was not even acknowledged until almost 5 minute past the appointment time. We were told the internet was down and to expect to wait. What I don't understand is, while waiting before the appointment I connected my 2 year old sons tablet to their internet and it worked fine. His tablet was connected the whole time.. But since we traveled 45 minutes to get there and with the high cost of gas we decided to wait the hour and half. About an hour into waiting one of the employees came to tell us that the internet was still down and that she is going to send us home. She said she would call us if something opened up later. But we had noticed the two people that had been in front of us were not turned away. Only us.. So it was a complete waste of our time and gas! I will only be going to the Roseville Hyundai now and I recommend anyone else do that same. Otherwise you may be turned away for no reason like we were!

Hyundai is true to their word. Warranty actually worked like it was supposed to and I didn't have to jump through hoops. Employees went above and beyond and kept me in the loop throughout the process. Our service person was great at calling back anytime I had questions. Hyundai understands the importance of giving the customer a great experience. I will be a Hyundai customer for life!

This place is horrible. The management is inconsiderate and dishonest. I placed a call To the service department and was told that the service department would be open so I towed my wife's car to them, and when the towed car arrived the service department was closed. I had to drive out there which was an hour away. Only to be forced to wait another hour and a half for another tow truck to arrive to tow my wife's car back because I was told it couldn't stay there over the weekend. Each time I asked to speak to the manager I was told there wasn't one present. And all of this was after I was told to go ahead and have the car towed to them in the first place.

I believe u can buy a warranty
The key will need to be programmed to the vehicle, you won't be able to manually program it to the vehicle. Call the service department to get an estimate
We had a 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe and they wanted over $450 for one. This was like 4 years ago.

U have to be connected to bluetooth from the car and u can set it on hands free calls on the phone and on the car.
I'm honestly not sure but the finance people always try to work with you whether it's a special or not! I've purchased 3 cars from them, not because of a promotion but because the customer service is excellent and they've always worked something out for me that's affordable.
