It depends on what you would like to spend and your application. The LG xboom rk7 is an amazing unit. Sounds amazing and has app connectivity to further configure and enhance your karaoke experiences. If you want something cheap and easy to use. A handheld karaoke machine would be just fine.

You might be able to buy an adapter, but keep in mind that the adapter will likely also need to be plugged in, so it can turn optical signals into electrical ones.
