Horrible customer service

I usually don't post reviews, but the customer service was not great at all. I went to the shop on a Friday and was told that my computer would not be touched until Wednesday, which is understandable. I was in the process of getting checked in, and I started to ask questions about the possible cost of the repair and the typical turnaround time. The staff also asked me to sign a document, so I had questions about that as well. I was met with so much push back and I was told to leave if I didn't want to sign the paper and get checked in. There was complete disregard for my concerns. If a customer has questions about a document you are asking them to sign, then you should be willing to answer the questions that follow. It was also pretty off-putting that I was told my laptop problem was very common but a cost range couldn't be given and a nonrefundable diagnostic was also necessary. If the problem was common, the unwillingness to give some information appears a little dishonest in my opinion. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone based on poor customer service and lack of transparency.

Found them on yelp and is pleased with the great customer service they have. Reasonable with their prices.

I've worked on my own computers for most of my life, but the issue I had with installing a replacement battery in my Razer laptop wan't something I could address. My experience with Jim's was awesome! Brittany answered the call and not only understood my issue, but when I dropped the laptop by their place, remembered the conversation and was able to accurately write up the work order without my having to go through it all again. Jim called me when promised with what they found and when I picked it up, Hollis (the gentleman who'd actually done the work) gave me a brief rundown. They were spot-on with their estimate. Next time I have a computer problem, I'll definitely take it to Jim's.
