The civilized world NEEDS at least one full- blown bookstore! But did you know they have a decent bargain books section, a large cd & dvd selection, hundreds of magazines, even a Starbucks coffee & sweet treats cafe ( they sampled a cold-brew chocolate-frothed drink so tasty I bought one-yum!).Hey people- every so often, we need to throw old brick & mortar a bone & buy something there- Amazon and eBay are great, but if we sell out and destroy the soul of retail completely, one cold day we will find ourselves unhappy with the soulless, antisocial, disconnected world we have created.

I go there every 3 months in Ann Arbor. It's a really nice store, but not much new goes on there so it kinda bores me. Their eating area has that high brow feeling with expensive desserts(sp) that are $4.99 and more for slices of cheesecake etc. I'd like lower priced items at half that cost.

Store is large and has an attached Starbucks on the inside with some seating if you want to drink and read at the same time. Finding books however is a little challenging since only the employees can access the computers to search for books. They have a great Young Adult section with trending novels and old favourites.

Love the spacious two levels at this location. Lots of non-book gift items available for a wide range of prices. Large displays of value priced and discounted items. Upstairs lots of games, nice puzzles, and themed items available...Harry Potter, Star Wars, Disney. A great place to find a good read, browse, and a nice cafe area to relax with a hot coffee. Staff is there for you when you ask for assistance, and let you roam/browse alone without feeling you are being watched like a hawk. BTW, large restrooms available.
