V3 is the most dishonest company I've ever dealt with. They misled me about the whole process and I would recommend not dealing with this company. My bill from April to September/October is over $400. Using V3 is the worst mistake as a homeowner.

Just got my solar installed and running! Brett and Willie have been very helpful and are always a phone call or text away

I received outstanding information and service from Brett and Deanna when I explored the services of V3 Electric. They were kind and knowledgeable. I really enjoyed sitting with them and discussing all the benefits. They have continued to be available since I signed up. I highly recommend them and V3.

Questions & Answers

Been looking around and it seems like all programs are for 25 years. Why such a big commitment?

Andre Claridge | Sep 27, 2020
Tony Ruckus | Sep 27, 2021

You're essentially switching your utility provider from PGE to V3. The 25 years actually provides peace of mind in my experience. For the entire duration of your solar agreement, you see down to the cent what you'll be paying per month. Compared that to PGE where it's anyone's guess, that's a world's difference.

What's the warranty on the panels?

Mike Bent | Sep 27, 2020
Steven Chatterton | Sep 27, 2020

The warranty on the panels lasts for as long as your solar agreements stand. If they're underproducing or get cracked, V3 will take care of the fix at no charge.

How many panels do I need for my house?

Christian Storton | Sep 27, 2020
Lorna McGinnis | Sep 27, 2020

I agree. V3 will do an assessment of your previous usage and will build a system based off those numbers. Better to focus on how much coverage the system will provide rather than how many panels.

What are the main benefits of going with V3?

Raymond Cruz | Sep 27, 2020
Peter Windmoor | Sep 27, 2020

V3 offers a good variety of programs, but their in-house one is the one I chose to go with. I didn't pay anything for the whole solar process. Designs, install, and all the work with the building department were covered. Now I'm only paying for the power the system makes. Saved me hundreds a month. Best part of it all is that V3 takes responsibility of maintaining the system. They call me when they notice something is off and send a tech to fix it quickly. Would recommend.

Does V3 offer backup batteries for the PGE blackouts?

Aaron Lomar | Sep 27, 2020
Tony Ruckus | Sep 27, 2020

They do. They offer Tesla Powerwalls. I got 2 batteries myself due to my energy usage. My power went out sometime last year and my power automatically switched to the batteries. Backup batteries are well worth the peace of mind.

Does the V3 plan put a lien on your home for the equipment?

Norma Maverick | Sep 27, 2020
Glenda Knott | Sep 27, 2020

No lien on the home. I refinanced my house with my system on it. All I had to do was call V3 to let them know. They don't lease their systems, so there's no lien on the house. Simple and straightforward process. Very pleased with my system.

Should I go with V3's energy program or purchase panels?

Tony Ruckus | Sep 27, 2020
Lorna McGinnis | Sep 27, 2020

100% go with the energy program. Owning a system and batteries makes sense to some people, but for myself and people like me, I don't have the tax appetite for the solar tax credit, nor do I have that kind of income. V3's plan allows you to get the benefits of owning the system without the responsibility of upkeep and monitoring. V3 takes care of the whole process and fixes any issues free of charge. Had my system and battery for just about two years now and couldn't be happier with my energy.
