Excellent museum! Staff enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and welcoming. Son particularly loved the junior ranger scavenger hunt, the badge and tumbled gemstones for taking part were an unexpected bonus which made his day. Lots of mineral and crystal exhibits, lots of information to read, and a very well done goldmine mock up to explore. We'd visited Rhyolite and Bodie previous to this, and it helped put lots of things into context. I'd never seen a gold mining water cannon before, and the one featured here answered my questions. Great stamp mill model too. Well worth the very reasonable entrance price.
