I had a bad experience at the fuel dock. No answer back on channel 16 so I docked myself which is no big deal. I was refused a transient slip at noon and they were not full. I had to handle the lines for a huge yacght that also couldn't raise anyone on the vhf.It seems as though three people were working but no one was very helpful. I'll give zero stars on second thought... I had the exact opposite experience in St. Simon's Island marina.

The marina is very clean and nice overall. The rates are very reasonable as well. Don't stay on the fuel dock though. You'll get waked starting around 5am.

Do u know anywhere we can anchor free close by indigo plantation marina where we can anchor... theres a dock we can tie our dingy to...and stay for 20-30 days ?

Wyngate hotel is nice. Ports of call, Oliver's, San Felipe are good places to est.
I'd use Southport Village Boat and RV Storage.....if it was me.
Never docked a boat here, but they accommodate everyone, would think they are quite reasonable. Best of luck to you guys! Locals and transients alike.
