$60 (+$20 for a key security deposit so $80 upfront) for a tenting campsite. I’m really glad I only stayed one night as the campground couldn’t even handle thirty minutes of rain without the entire place flooding. Janky bathrooms, missing tiles and grody looking in the womens room. Mens bathroom door was broken so didn’t even need the key. People being nosy until 1Am and couldn’t tell if they were happy or angry drunks. Place was a strange welcome to the beach. However staff was great as was location.

Janky! The whole place needs updated. If you want to have the nostalgic feel of the movie "The Great Outdoors" then you may enjoy this place. Realize that means out of date septic, a center that seems out of the 70's including a Ms Pacman game, still working...and very few helpful, if working, ammenities. I feel for them, but families should not be living in a "fake" 55+ community with no helpful ammenities....but there are bottle openers everywhere! Big time drinking area which is just not my thing really. Not too happy this place got our money and ruined our big vacation for the year.

Lanier's Campground was perfect for my family's 4th of July weekend camping trip. The staff and volunteers were friendly and professional. Our neighbors were friendly. It was literally minutes away from Topsail Island and it's beautiful snow soft sandy beaches. We even were able to see Topsail Island's fireworks display right from our campsite. Will definitely have to find a booking from Lanier's again in the future

Just left from our week stay and we couldn't be more happy about our stay. The staff were all very nice and everyone around the campground were the exact same. There is a lot of permanent spots but that didn't hender from our views or experience. My kids loved riding their bikes and fishing some from the pier. We can't wait for our next trip.

Yes there are permanent live in spots. The monthly rate is somewhere in the $550 ballpark. And I'm not sure about the last question. Hope this helps.
Could anyone recommend who could repair a camper roof? The winds caught it at the front. Ripples the front, have taped that back down, let me know if you know someone that is honest.

They have three park models. Contact the office for availability. My daughter and her family rented one when we first arrived. It was super cute and they really enjoyed it.
Stayed last weekend! It was $45 for the site and $20 bathhouse key fab fee- that was refundable. Great spot- really enjoyed our time there!

They open at 7:30. If the spot is empty you can go ahead and set up. If not checkout time is 1:00,so I'm guessing 2:00

You can retire there but it cannot be your permanent resident I know they allow pets but you have to have it leashed and you have to have full control of them as in state laws. It's a very nice clean Campground wonderful owner, family and work and or employee campers.
